PROJECT WIN FRA & REFURB WORK, 9 TOWER BLOCKS, HARLOW

We are excited to announce that Chas Berger has been awarded the Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) and Refurbishment Works programme across nine residential tower blocks within Harlow Council’s housing portfolio.

The programme will deliver a comprehensive package of fire safety and refurbishment improvements to the following blocks: Moor Tower, Willowfield Tower, Nicholls Tower, 1-28 Brenthall, 29-56 Brenthall, Stort Tower, Netteswell Tower, Spring Hill Tower, Pennymead.

Our works will include:

  • Communal and stairwell door replacements
  • Fire-rated damper installations to flat ventilation systems
  • Fire stopping within flat risers
  • Individual flat ventilation system upgrades
  • AOV installations and guarding
  • Walkway guarding and railing replacements
  • Escape and wayfinding signage upgrades
  • Stairwell loft hatch guarding
  • Fire-rated plant room access hatches
  • Dry riser relocation
  • Replacement of statutory and safety signage

This project continues our strong partnership with Harlow Council and builds on our extensive experience delivering complex fire safety and refurbishment works within occupied high-rise residential buildings.
