Project Update Mercers, Harlow

We are progressing well with the external repair and refurbishment works at 1–54 Mercers on behalf of Harlow Council. The project includes a range of vital upgrades delivered in two phases.

The works include the installation of new roof and vertical slate coverings, along with the replacement of felt roof coverings on communal staircases and adjacent to shiplap-clad windows. The project also involves reconfiguring and replacing the rainwater goods, updating fascia and soffit boards, and removing existing shiplap cladding on upper flats to install a more energy-efficient external wall insulation (EWI) render system. In addition, we’re replacing window units on the upper roof-level flats to further enhance the building’s performance and appearance.

We remain committed to maintaining high standards and minimising disruption to Harlow’s residents throughout the refurbishment process.
