Inspiring the Next Generation National Apprenticeship Week
We’re proud to share this short film created with Essex County Council, now being rolled out across every primary school in Essex, helping introduce young people – especially girls and young women – to careers in construction.
Filmed on our Tylney Croft site in Harlow Council, the video features Megan Paul, one of our Quantity Surveyors, alongside Roxie, who did an amazing job as presenter while exploring a live construction environment.

Taking part in this project with Essex County Council was a really positive experience. I hope Roxie enjoyed her time at our live construction site exploring something new. Construction can feel daunting at first, especially for young women and girls, and it was good to be involved in a project that helps show the industry as an exciting and welcoming place to learn.

This project aligns perfectly with National Apprenticeship Week, as supporting early careers and skills development remains a key focus for Chas Berger. In 2025 alone, we supported 110 weeks of apprenticeship training, helping people at different stages of their journey build long-term careers in construction.
A huge thank you to Essex County Council, the team at Ranch Creative and everyone involved in bringing this to life – including our fantastic site team at Tylney Croft.
