Byron Primary School required upgrades to its toilet facilities to improve the environment for students and staff, as part of its broader commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. The project involved the refurbishment of four toilet units, including complete strip-out, installation of new cubicle systems, vanity units, and sanitaryware. - Tiling of walls and splash zones to provide a clean and hygienic environment, with durable and easy-to-clean surfaces.
Sanitaryware and Accessories:
- Supply and installation of new sanitaryware, including toilets, sinks, taps, dispensers, and hand dryers.
- Ensuring compliance with accessibility requirements to cater to all students.
Above Ground Drainage and Plumbing:

- Installation of new plumbing systems to support the new sanitary installations.
Lighting and Fire Alarm Systems:
- Installation of new energy efficient LED lighting, improving both visibility and safety.
- Integration of fire alarm systems in line with current regulations, ensuring the safety of the users.
Decorations:

The refurbishment of the four toilet units was successfully completed on time and within budget, with all areas ready for the new school term in September. The modern, durable, and hygienic facilities have been well received by both staff and students, contributing to a more pleasant and safe environment.
The newly installed energy efficient lighting and water saving sanitaryware have also helped the school reduce its energy and water consumption, aligning with Byron Primary School’s sustainability goals.
