Chas Berger has been working on behalf of Southern Housing to deliver kitchen, bathroom and CCU replacements at Vanston Place. Vanston Place comprises of numerous residential units just off Fulham Broadway. Throughout the project we completed a total of, 154 kitchens, 103 bathroom and 151 CCU replacements.
Our full-time RLO on this project engaged with residents during the works by conducting face-to-face visits, a drop in facility and communicating via WhatsApp and phone calls to inform them of the project progress and answer their queries. Residents who were having a new bathroom installed were given the opportunity to choose the colour of their new bathroom walls.
We appreciate that these works may have caused disruption for residents, to thank them for their patience, we carried out a raffle over the Christmas period. To relieve residents of the constraints from the cost of living crisis we decided that the appropriate prize would be a £100 supermarket gift voucher.
As part of our social value commitment on this project, we installed cycle storage for residents to be able to store their bicycles in a safe and convenient area.
