On behalf of Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing (MTVH) we completed a comprehensive window and door replacement project to enhance the safety, energy efficiency, and aesthetic appeal of their residential properties. The project focused on properties across London, East Anglia, and the Midlands, targeting both street properties and residential blocks. We have successfully completed the Y3 works.
As of the Y3 works, the project has achieved a value of £500,000. This reflects ongoing investments in properties located in Nottingham and Derby, which are part of MTVH’s extensive portfolio.
Scope of Work
The project involved a detailed scope of works, including:
- Existing windows, including communal windows, were removed and replaced with Rehau 70 specification windows. New double-glazed windows were installed as standard for most properties, ensuring improved thermal insulation and noise reduction.
- Existing front and rear doors were replaced where necessary, excluding communal doors or flat entrance doors that open into communal areas. Replacement of rear doors with double-glazed units and front door sets with pre-finished timber 30-minute fire-rated doors (FD30S) for enhanced fire safety where needed.

The successful completion of the Y3 works marks a significant milestone in our commitment to improving the quality and safety of MTVH’s housing stock. Looking ahead, we remain dedicated to delivering high-standard refurbishments that align with regulatory requirements and residents’ needs. With sustainability at the core of our approach, future phases will continue to focus on enhancing energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact through the use of durable, high-performance materials. Our ongoing partnership with MTVH ensures that tenants benefit from modern, secure, and comfortable living spaces for years to come.
“We are proud to have successfully delivered the Y3 phase of this vital project in partnership with MTVH. Enhancing the safety, energy efficiency, and overall quality of residents’ homes is at the heart of what we do. This investment demonstrates our continued commitment to improving living spaces across London, East Anglia, and the Midlands. We look forward to furthering our work in Nottingham and Derby, ensuring that communities benefit from high-quality, modern, and secure housing. We are also delighted to have been entrusted with an additional £450,000 to support MTVH in Q4 – this reflects their confidence in our ability to deliver outstanding results on time and within budget. We look forward to further strengthening this partnership, continuing our work in Nottingham and Derby, and making a lasting impact through quality workmanship and sustainable solutions.”
