Stamford Hill Estate project update

We are currently completing flat roof replacements, decorations, concrete & brickwork repairs to three blocks (Berwyn, Brecon & Arran house) on the Stamford Hill Estate for Southern Housing.  To date, the scaffold has been fully erected on the three blocks, with roof replacement works completed on Berwyn and Brecon House, and redecoration to the to the masonry bands and walkway soffits in progress. Roof replacement works are progressing well at Arran House.

The new flat roofing being installed is a Langley specification, consisting of a 3-layer felt system along with a liquid coating compound being applied to certain areas. The existing crumbling render to the internal parapet wall has been renewed and any loose copings have been refixed. The tank room timber doors are being replaced with a prefinished metal to increase durability and remove the need for future cyclical work.
